The Pune Petrol Pump Association decided to join the statewide indefinite strike from August 26,2014
The Bandh call was given by Maharashtra Petrol Dealers Association on Friday to demand to abolish the Local Body Tax (LBT) which was charged on Petrol and Diesel too.The Association has said that the prices of Petrol and Diesel has come down by Rs.4 to Rs.5 if the Local Body Tax (LBT) abolished.http://www.bubblews.com/news/6175033-indefinite-strike-of-petrol

The Association also demanding to the State Govt.of Maharashtra to reduce the Vat Added Tax (VAT).But State Govt. has no interest even to talk on that issues.
